Notice

Florida law requires the Office of the Palm Beach Property Appraiser to send notices to all homeowners. In Palm Beach County on behalf of the tax authorities that set the tax rates and collect the properties.Palm-Beach-Property-Appraiser It is important to understand that although this appears to be an invoice at first glance, IT IS NOT AN INVOICE.

2021 Property Valuation Project or TRIM

PBC’s Proposed Property Tax Rule for 2020 On the one hand, you can see the proposed taxes. The tax authorities will levy on your property and the dates, times, and locations of the tax authorities’ budget hearings. Your final mileage (tax) rates will be determined at these hearings. So, these meetings are an opportunity for you to raise concerns about proposed tax rates.

In addition, there is a section for non-ad Valorem reviews, which are fees for government services in your area. (Such as solid waste, drainage, street lighting, etc.) Therefore the Appraiser’s Office is not responsible for the appraisal in this part of the notice.

2020 Market Value On the back of the notice, you will find the market, estimated, and tax value of your property and the allowances and valuation limits allowed.

Additionally, you will find information about the procedure for submitting a request for an objection to your stock market valuation. My office welcomes any inquiries regarding your termination, property value, and waiver amounts at 561.355.3230 or MyExemption@pbcgov.org.

You can find information about tax rates by contacting the relevant tax authority listed on TRIM. If you have questions about tax collection, contact the Palm Beach County Tax Collector’s Office.

In conclusion, the 2021 Property Valuation Project, as executed through the TRIM (Truth in Millage) process by the Palm Beach County Property Appraisers, has played a pivotal role in shaping the fiscal landscape for property owners in the region. Through meticulous assessment, transparent communication, and community engagement, the Property Appraisers have strived to ensure an equitable and accurate valuation of properties.
